Got Bored, So I Made A Dress

So I went to American Apparel & tried on a dress that looked amazing on me... too bad it cost $42!
I went to the fabric store that night, bought the fabric (on sale) for $12, and wore it to an event the next day :-)

Vitamin C

So ppl have been asking about my internship....
Its going well & I'm learning a lot. Most importantly I've learned that things don't always go as planned, but you gotta roll with it.
Here's some thing's we've worked on thus far...

Pretty Ricky MJ Tribute Jackets (we only had 36 hrs to make these!)

Grrrreat Day!

So I know its been a really long time since I've blogged. I'm in transition... finishing school, moving in with mom, interning, and what-not. But today is a new day and I've found my creative spirit (don't ask where it was).

Any-whoo! Today was my first "offical" day as an intern for Chloe Harper @ Vitamin C Clothing. Chloe is an amazing designer & Georgia Southern Alum. I've always looked up to her... since my first sewing class. I'm really looking forward to learning & working with her.

Abercrombie (fitch & kids)!

Man, I really miss work! I love Abercrombie because they don't stray too far from the classics. But when they do, I'm never disappointed. These new denim styles from Abercrombie & Fitch and a92 [kids] are must-haves for me. #1). These semi-high waist shorts are awesome! They have more of an early 90's appeal, which I love. Normal high waist pants look weird on me because I already have long legs. These shorts will give me that sexy 1990's model look. Watch out now! lol! #2). I love the length of this skirt. I've worked at A&F for almost 3yrs now & I've never purchase the classic mini. Its just way too short for me. I will definitely be buying this one. #3). I just love zippers :-)
Luckily for me, I'm still on the roster... employee discount for me!

Oh the places I COULD GO!!

So... I'm a Georgia Southern University Alum! Now what? I have no clue :-(
I have so many options & its hard to make a decision. I feel like maybe I should put a big map on the wall & start stabbing it with thumb tacks. Should I stay in tha 'Boro & work in Savannah, move to Savannah... Atlanta... Houston? Or should I just get up and move to Miami?? Everyone says I should move to Atlanta & stay at home, but I don't wanna! I like being on my own. And it seems like everyone in my family has a suggestion. They say, "Move here, Work There." Sometimes I wanna go far, far away... I just wanna be happy.

Oh, the Places You'll Go!

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.
